We prepare them
Each plant is checked for health, treated as needed and re-potted in fresh premium soil, then packed by hand with a care card.
Packed in 1–2 days
Orders are prepared within 1–2 business days, Monday to Friday. Weekend orders go out the next business day.
Delivered to your door
We hand-deliver when we can and use a local courier otherwise. You’ll get an email when your order leaves the studio.

Choosing plants for Seattle light
Seattle’s winters are short and gray, so match the plant to your brightest spot:
- North windows, offices, dim rooms: Marble Queen Pothos, Snake Plant 'Laurentii', ZZ Plant, Golden Pothos, Snake Plant 'Black Gold Superba' and Snake Plant 'Black Coral'. All low-light plants →

Sending a plant as a gift
Plants make a lovely Seattle-area gift. Order to the recipient’s address, then reply to your order confirmation with a note — we’ll include a handwritten card. For something special, try a hand-built succulent arrangement or a rare plant for the collector in your life.

Is plant delivery really free in Seattle?
Yes. Orders delivered to King County and Snohomish County addresses ship free — no minimum order and no delivery fee. That includes Seattle, Bellevue, Redmond, Kirkland, Bothell, Woodinville, Lynnwood, Edmonds, Everett, Renton, Kent and the surrounding cities.
How fast will my plants arrive?
We prepare orders within 1–2 business days (Monday to Friday). Local orders are hand-delivered when we can or sent with a local courier, and we email you when your order leaves the studio.
Do you deliver to Tacoma or Olympia?
We ship there, but delivery isn’t free: Pierce County, Thurston County and the rest of Washington outside King and Snohomish counties ship with standard Washington shipping for $9.50.
Can I pick up my order instead?
Studio visits are by appointment only. Email hello@heartleafplants.com if you’d like to pick out a plant in person.
Do you deliver large floor plants?
Yes. Large plants such as Monstera deliciosa and Bird of Paradise are delivered locally at no charge, just like small ones.
Can you deliver to my office?
Yes — any King or Snohomish County address, including offices. If you’d like plants installed and looked after at work, see our plant design and care services.
