This page explains, in plain language, what information Heartleaf Plants collects when you visit heartleafplants.com, buy plants or get in touch — and what we do with it.

What we collect
When you place an order. Checkout is handled by Stripe. Stripe collects your name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address and payment details. We receive your order and the contact and shipping details we need to prepare and deliver it. Your full card number is never shared with us.
When you contact us or request a quote. Our quote and pricing-inquiry forms collect your name, email, phone number and message, and deliver them to our inbox through a form service called FormSubmit. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include in the email.
When you browse. We count visits with our own simple, cookie-free analytics: a random visitor ID stored in your browser, the page you’re viewing and the page that referred you. We don’t use advertising cookies or third-party ad trackers.
Saved in your browser. To make shopping easier, your browser remembers your cart, the ZIP code you entered for shipping and whether you’ve closed our welcome message. This stays on your device; you can clear it anytime in your browser settings.
Services that help us run the shop

- Google Fonts — serves the fonts on our pages.
- Behold — shows our Instagram feed on the homepage.
- Delivery carriers and couriers (such as USPS, UPS or a local courier) — receive your name and address to deliver your order.
Each of these services handles data under its own privacy policy.
How we use your information
- To prepare, deliver and support your order, including guarantee claims.
- To answer questions and prepare quotes for plant services.
- To understand which pages are useful so we can improve the site.
We don’t sell or rent your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them to support your purchase and to meet accounting and tax obligations. We keep messages and quote requests only as long as they’re useful for the conversation or project.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@heartleafplants.com. Some order records may need to be kept for tax and accounting purposes.
Children
Our site isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
